Board games are meant to be played with other people; how accessible will Naval Tactics be to playing against human opponents?

Naval Tactics utilizes a very robust multiplayer platform that has been powering the Starbase Orion for over a year now. It supports simultaneous asynchronous turn-based gameplay, friends lists, random matches, custom matches and Captain’s Arena matches.

Will Naval Tactics be Universal Binary? How much will it cost? What devices will be supported?

Naval Tactics will be universal binary ( one download/purchase will run on iPod, iPhone, and iPad ). Final pricing for Naval Tactics has not been determined, however the plan is to go with a single purchase price. There will be a single IAP on launch (for quick access to the Captain’s Arena). In addition, there may be additional IAP in the future for additional mission packs. In the interest of fairness and competitive balance, all IAP in Naval Tactics will not affect actual game balance. It will be addition, optional content only.

What are the victory conditions for Naval Tactics? Is it just destroy all of the ships all the time?

There are several missions available to play in Naval Tactics, each mission has a different set of Mission Objectives. Some missions are decided by Victory Points, where you earn points by sinking ships. Other missions you may need to escort a merchant vessel safely to an area of the map. In yet another mission you will need to combine forces with your opponent to take down an AI controlled opponent.

Do you or will you have forums for fans to discuss the upcoming title?

Yes, Naval Tactics has its own forum.
